Music as
Therapy

Robert Page has gained considerable experience in teaching music as a form of therapy for accident victims and others with special needs.

Over the years, he has found that many people who have suffered physical or mental trauma as a result of an accident find that studying music (keyboard in particular) is an excellent means of therapy.

The physical exercise of the wrists, hands and fingers, together with the mental exercise resulting from efforts to control the fingers and co-ordinate the hands, may be found to be of enormous benefit.

Add to that the sheer enjoyment which is a therapy in itself!

“Robert helped me understand and re-learn music to such an extent that I am now moving forward with both Theory and Keyboard. I have learning difficulties, but Robert’s methods and approach continue to help me move forward with my study of music.”
